HEWI accessories: Beautiful and functional

HEWI accessories are puristic and reduced to the essentials. This is one of their strongest characteristics. But even measures that follow purely practical considerations have been implemented by HEWI and its designers to meet high aesthetic standards. As part of the System 800 K series designed by Phoenix Design, for example, there are high-contrast signal colors that make it easier for visually impaired people to find their way around the bathroom. The shades used, such as ruby red or orange, can be perceived as attractive accents in a bathroom environment dominated by light and white colors.

When it comes to the materials used, HEWI usually relies on a mix of chrome-plated or matt-finished stainless steel and polyamide. Despite its elegant appearance, matte-finished stainless steel is robust and durable and can be cleaned thoroughly with little effort. Polyamide is a plastic that is ideal for those areas where high hygiene requirements apply due to its antimicrobial effectiveness. This makes polyamide accessories predestined for hospitals or care facilities.
